Description

KLINTENSIV CHDG SOAP is a viscous liquid formulated for hygienic and surgical disinfection by washing hands or specific areas of the body prior to invasive procedures. Its strong bactericidal properties make it suitable for cleaning superficially infected wounds and preparing skin for surgery.

Product advantages:

  • Provides hygienic disinfection in 1 minute (EN 1499) and surgical disinfection in 5 minutes (EN 12791), with a sustained effect lasting at least 3 hours.

How to use:

  1. Hygienic Hand/Body Disinfection:
    • Apply 5 ml of product to the moistened surface.
    • Spread evenly, rub to foam, and ensure 1-minute contact time.
    • Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean paper towel.
  2. Surgical hand disinfection:
    • Conduct in two steps:
      • Step 1: Apply 5 ml and rub for 3 minutes.
      • Step 2: Apply 5 ml and rub for 2 minutes.
    • Rinse and dry with clean paper towels.
  3. Pre-Surgical Skin Preparation:
    • Apply sufficient soap to moisten the skin.
    • Rub gently from top to bottom until a generous, milky lather forms. Add water if necessary to build lather.
    • Rinse thoroughly. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth.

Composition:

Active ingredients (per 100 g product):

  • 4% (m/m) Chlorhexidine digluconate.
  • 0.5% (m/m) Quaternary ammonium compounds benzyl C12-18 alkyldimethyl chlorides.

Other ingredients:

  • ≥5 – <15% nonionic surfactants.
  • Emollient/moisturizing agents.
  • pH-correcting agents.
  • Water.
