DEZICON is a concentrated liquid used for surface disinfection, cleaning and disinfecting of medical and surgical instruments.

How to use: The product is used as a diluted 2% (v/v) solution and does not require rinsing (for floors and other surfaces).
The product can be used on clean/wet surfaces. Example preparation method: 20 ml concentrated disinfecting detergent + 980 ml drinking/distilled water to obtain 1000 ml ready-to-use solution.
For surface disinfection, use a sufficient quantity for total surface coverage (applied dose: 20-50 ml/1 m2), by direct application techniques on surfaces, using a hand sprayer or a clean synthetic (preferably polyester/polyethylene) hand spray or clean synthetic cloth.
Contact time is between 5 minutes and 60 minutes, depending on the level of disinfection desired. Does not require rinsing. The prepared ready-to-use solution can be used within a maximum of 2 days from the date of preparation and should be stored in tightly closed containers at room temperature. Cleaned and dried instrumentation is placed in the solution vessel and completely covered with the liquid.
The contact time is between 5 minutes and 60 minutes, depending on the level of disinfection desired. At the end, the instruments are rinsed with sterile water/water (depending on the type of disinfection desired and the internal protocols of the unit). The cuvette solution can be reused for up to 5 complete sets of instrumentation or within 48 hours of filling the cuvette. An opaque plastic cuvette is recommended.
